Shah Mostafa Khaled, PhD is a computer science academic, researcher, and technology specialist with research and professional interests in optimization, software engineering, location sciences, shipment consolidation, and information technology. Dr. Khaled earned his PhD from the University of Waterloo and MSc from the University of Lethbridge, Canada. He also holds MS and BSc (Hons.) degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Dhaka. His academic achievements include the NSERC Canada Graduate Scholarship – Doctoral, the University of Waterloo Engineering Excellence PhD Fellowship, and multiple Best Paper and Best Presentation Awards at international conferences. Dr. Khaled began his professional career as a consultant to the World Bank and subsequently joined LM Ericsson as an Intelligent Network Engineer. He moved to academia in 2008, joining the Institute of Information Technology, University of Dhaka, where he currently serves as an Associate Professor. His teaching experience includes Combinatorial Optimization, Computer Programming, Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures and Algorithms, Graph Theory, Location Analytics, Formal Methods in Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Business Analytics. Beyond his academic activities, Dr. Khaled is a traveler, amateur photographer, and author. His published books are available through Amazon and Rokomari.
