Dr. Md. Shohidul Islam is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at State University of Bangladesh. He obtained his PhD in Faculty of Computing from Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah in 2025. He completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Information and Communication Engineering from University of Rajshahi. Dr. Shohidul has many years of teaching and academic experience in several private universities in Bangladesh and also served as a Part-time Lecturer at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah, Malaysia. His research interests include blockchain technology, cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence, heterogeneous networks, green technology, and communication systems. He has published many research articles in reputed international journals and conferences indexed by Scopus and Web of Science. He is also actively involved in academic research, journal reviewing, and curriculum development activities. His academic and research contributions have been recognized locally and internationally, and he has received awards, scholarships, and certificates for excellence in research and teaching. He has served in several academic leadership and administrative roles, including Chairman, Advisor, Convener, and Organizing Committee Member in different academic, research, disciplinary, and student engagement activities. He has also contributed actively to project supervision, research coordination, computer club activities, convocation arrangements, and CSE festival organization.
