Deepankar Sutradhar currently serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy at the State University of Bangladesh (SUB), having joined on April 1, 2026. He completed both his Bachelor of Pharmacy (Professional) and Master of Pharmacy in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology from the University of Dhaka, securing 3rd position in both programs with a CGPA of 3.96/4.00 and a GPA of 3.94/4.00, respectively. His master’s thesis focused on the synthesis works and pharmacological evaluation, complemented by molecular docking analysis, reflecting his strong foundation in drug design and computational pharmacology. His B.Pharm. project work concentrated on the clinical survey work and prescribing patterns study. Apart from academic works, he also collaborated on a UGC project that focused on solid dispersion technology and drug formulation. The study was published in Scientia Pharmaceutica (MDPI), a distinguished Scopus-indexed journal, in 2026. He was awarded the prestigious National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship (2024) and received multiple academic excellence awards. In addition to his academic pursuits, he has gained practical experiences through industrial training at DBL Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and hospital training at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital. Deepankar is dedicated to advancing healthcare research in Bangladesh and contributing to pharmaceutical education, driven by a strong passion for teaching, research, and innovation.
