Sovon Mallick is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the State University of Bangladesh. He is currently pursuing his Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science and Engineering at Jahangirnagar University, where he also completed his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in the same discipline.
His research interests encompass Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Internet of Things (IoT), Network Security, and intelligent data-driven systems. He is actively engaged in supervised research focusing on reinforcement learning–based strategy optimization in real-time strategy (RTS) environments and IoT-driven smart monitoring frameworks for urban safety applications.
In addition to research, he has experience in AI system development, embedded IoT solutions, and web and mobile application development. He is dedicated to academic excellence and is committed to fostering critical thinking, research aptitude, and practical problem-solving skills among students through effective teaching and mentorship.
