Hriday Kumar Shaha has joined Department of Pharmacy, State University of Bangladesh (SUB) as a Lecturer in September 2024. Before joining SUB, Mr. Hriday has worked in the Production department of Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd for about three years where he gained hand on experience on successful operation of production assembly line, analyzing data in manufacturing as well as maintenance of equipment such as set up, operate, and maintain high-speed and precision machinery used in mass production. Prior to that, he completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy (Professional) and Master of Pharmacy in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology, from the University of Dhaka. In addition, Mr. Hriday was awarded the National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship, 2022-23 by the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh for his Master's thesis project which was “Phytochemical Screening of Phyllanthus niruri Linn. and its Biological Evaluation”. In addition of his competent academics, he also had industrial training experiences from Pacific Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and a six-month hospital training experience from Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
