Abdul Kuddus (Apu) who is currently holds the position of Lecturer at the Department of Pharmacy, State University of Bangladesh. He has accomplished his Bachelor of Professional Pharmacy degree from the University of Dhaka with a cGPA of 3.89. He also accomplished his Master of Pharmacy degree from Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology, University of Dhaka, with a GPA of 3.86. He conducted his M. Pharm. thesis work entitled “Analysis of Whole Genome Sequence and Virulence Properties of Staphylococcus aureus Isolated from a Tertiary Level Hospital, Dhaka City”. He received the National Science and Technology (NST) fellowship, 2022-23 from the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh for his Master’s thesis work. He also conducted his B. Pharm project work titled as Bacterial Diversity in Surface Water, Sediment and Farmed Stinging Catfish, Heteropneustes fossilis. In addition of his entrancing academics, he also had industrial training experiences from The ACME Laboratories Ltd. and a six-month hospital training experience from Dhaka Medical College and Hospital. Prior to his academic role, Abdul worked for 6 months years at Research and Development Department of Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd, where he gained hand on expertise using analytical instruments like HPLC, IR, UV, and Others. He also worked for 4 months at Research and Development Department of Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd. He is not only academically accomplished but also fond of emphasizing in extracurricular activities like in sports (Cricket, Football).
