Tasphia Nahian Hafeez currently serves as a lecturer in the department of Journalism, Communication, and Media Studies (JCMS) at the State University of Bangladesh (SUB). She embarked on her career as a news presenter at Bayanno TV in 2020. Presently, she is serving as a News Presenter at NTV, an international television channel Ltd. Her tenure at NTV commenced as a News Presenter cum News Reporter in 2021. Ms. Nahian obtained her B.S.S (Hons) and M.S.S in Printing and Publication Studies from the University of Dhaka. Nahian, a seasoned news presenter and reporter, brings a wealth of practical experience to her role as a lecturer in the department of Journalism, Communication and Media Studies (JCMS) at our university. With a background in broadcast journalism, Nahian has delivered breaking news stories, conducted in-depth interviews, and reported from the field, earning her a reputation for accuracy, integrity and professionalism. Now, as an educator, she is committed to nurturing the next generation of journalists, sharing her expertise in storytelling, media ethics and digital journalism with students eager to make their mark in the ever-evolving world of communication. Nahian’s passion for journalism, combined with her dedication to academic excellence, promises to inspire and empower aspiring communication under her guidance.
