Mr. Fahad Hossain is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the State University of Bangladesh. Before joining the State University of Bangladesh, he worked for the Canadian University of Bangladesh in the Department of CSE as an Assistant Professor from 2019 to 2023. He served the Canadian University of Bangladesh as Acting Head (CSE Dept.) and Controller of Examination for 3 years. He also worked for the University of Derby, UK as a Lecturer and Program Leader (BSc. in IT) from 2014 to 2019. He has experience in both the industry and education sectors. He has also experience working in different companies in the UK. He obtained his MSc. in Mobile Computing and Communication from the University of Greenwich, UK, and completed his BSc. in CSE from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology. His research interests include Machine Learning, Data Science, Image Processing, NLP, and Block chain.
