Md. Allama Faysal is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Health at the State University of Bangladesh (SUB), where he is dedicated to advancing public health education,research, and academic excellence. He also serves as the Coordinator of the Master of Public Health (MPH) Program in the department. He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Health Technology (Dental) from the State College of Health Sciences (SCHS), affiliated with the University of Dhaka, and earned his Master of Public Health (MPH) with a specialization in
Epidemiology from the State University of Bangladesh. Upon completing his MPH, Mr. Faysal joined the Department of Public Health at SUB as a Research Fellow, where he contributed to research projects on autism and antibody-related studies funded by the LabAid Group. He was subsequently promoted to Research Assistant, then Lecturer, and currently serves as an Assistant Professor. To date, he has supervised 20 MPH theses as the principal supervisor and co-supervised more than 50 additional MPH theses. He has also coordinated and moderated over 30 seminars and workshops, contributing to academic development and professional capacity building. He has published seven research articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals. Mr. Faysal is a member of the Public Health Foundation of Bangladesh (PHFBD) and serves as the Communication and Networking Secretary of the MPH Alumni Association of the Department of Public Health at the State University of Bangladesh. He remains committed to strengthening public health education, fostering research, and serving the community through evidence-based practice.
