Nuhad Raisa Seoty is an Associate Professor and MPH program coordinator at Department of Public Health, State University of Bangladesh. After obtaining MSc degree from Institute of Nutrition and Food Science, University of Dhaka in 2002, an MPH [Major in Epidemiology] at State University of Bangladesh was achieved. In 2012, she obtained M.Phil degree from Institute of Nutrition and Food Science of University of Dhaka. As a lecturer she joined in this departmentat State University of Bangladesh in December 2014 and in 2017, she was promoted as an Assistant Professor in the same department.Moreover, she has successfully completed the USAID Fellowship from 1st December 2013 to 30 November 2014 funded by USAID Bangladesh, organized by James P. Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University. Additionally, she has completed 3 months-long two certificate programs on Primary and Advanced Clinical Mental Health. She has 21 publications to her credit in national and international journals.Much of her research work focuses on maternal and child nutrition, obesity, human behavior and mental health.
