State University of Bangladesh Welcomes CSE 70th Batch and DSE 1st Batch in Summer 2026 Orientation

On Wednesday, 29 July 2026, the State University of Bangladesh campus buzzed with energy, excitement, and new beginnings. The
πππ©ππ«ππ¦ππ§π π¨π πππ welcomed newly admitted students of the 1st batch of B.Sc. in Data Science and Engineering and the 70th batch
of B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering programs in the Orientation Program Summer 2026. Held at the beautiful Scholars'
Inn, Shadhinota Tower, the memorable event kicked off at 12:00 PM and was packed with inspiration, guidance, and celebration.
The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome speech by the Chairman of the Department, Md. Masud Tarek, followed by crucial
campus life and discipline guidelines shared by the Proctor, Shah Reza M Fahad Hossain. The students then gained valuable insights
on academic excellence from the IQAC Director, Mohammad Gazi Golam Faruque, and received encouraging words of blessings
from the Dean of Science and Technology, Prof. Mohammad Ali Naqi.
The excitement reached its peak with an inspiring speech from the honorable Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Md. Hassan Kawsar, Acting Vice
Chancellor of SUB, followed by an enlightening keynote address on industry trends by the department alumnus, Syed Erfan Ali, Head
of Software Engineering at Brain Craft Ltd. The formal segment concluded with heartfelt speeches from two new students
representing each program, paving the way for a vibrant cultural program performed by the talented students. of the CSE Department.
