Mohammad Tawhidul Islam is a Lecturer in the Department of Law at the State University of Bangladesh. His academia journey began at Feni University, where he served for over one year and eight months. Before joining academia, he worked as an executive of the Company Secretary and Legal Affairs at US-Bangla Airlines for ten months.
Alongside his teaching and research, he served as the Moderator of the Feni University Debating Club (FUDC) and the Coordinator of the Feni University Law Mooting Society (FULMOS). Currently, he is associated with the Bangladesh Center for Refugee Law Studies (BCRLS) as Director of IT.
He completed his undergraduate and postgraduate studies at Jahangirnagar University and earned an LL.M (Master of Laws) from South Asian University, New Delhi, India.

- Represented Bangladesh in the SAU Sports Committee (2022–2023).
- Participated in the 1st Autumn School of International Law on Internally Displaced People for Climate Change, organized by the Liberation War Museum, Bangladesh.
