Tunisha Kuri is a committed architect and educator, holding a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and currently advancing her expertise as a Lecturer in the Department of Architecture at the State University. Her academic journey began with distinction at Rajuk Uttara Model College, where she completed her SSC and HSC. She continued to excel in her undergraduate studies, earning both the Dean’s List Scholarship and University Merit Scholarship in recognition of her academic achievements. Tunisha’s professional foundation includes an internship at Studio Dhaka, where she gained valuable practical experience, and a role on the design team for the 60th IEB convention, an impactful project that highlights her collaborative skills. Dedicated to community-centered architecture, she has contributed her skills to construction volunteering for PAARA in collaboration with IUB and LEEDO. Her design acumen has also been recognized through her shortlisting in the "Spirit of Nazrul" competition organized by ArchTwist. Currently pursuing an MS in Architecture at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) with a focus on History, Theory, and Criticism, Tunisha’s thesis, Reclaiming Childhood: A Rehabilitative and Integrative Shelter for Marginalized Children, addresses critical issues of social integration and support for vulnerable communities. Her work demonstrates a strong commitment to architectural heritage, community impact, and design theory.
