Md. Asaduzzaman

Engineer Md. Asaduzzaman currently serves as the coordinator of the Department of Food Engineering & Technology at the State University of Bangladesh. With over five years of teaching experience, he has imparted his knowledge to students and enriched their learning. Additionally, he possesses extensive research expertise and brings to his role three years of valuable industrial and administrative experience gained in reputable food industries, including Islam Group (Aftab Bahumukhi Farms Limited) and Akij Food and Beverage Industries. Holding an M. Engg. in Advanced Engineering Management from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Md. Asaduzzaman has furthered his academic qualifications. He also earned an M.Sc. in Food Processing and Engineering from Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU), and a B.Sc. in Food and Process Engineering from Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU). Recognized for his exceptional bachelor's thesis project, Md. Asaduzzaman was awarded the National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship by the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. His commitment to advancing knowledge is evident through numerous research publications in international journals. Furthermore, he has played a pivotal role in research and development, serving as an investigator in R&D research grants for the Economic Year 2022-2023 and as an Associate Investigator in two Research Grants (Special Allocation for the Economic Year 2019-2020 and 2020-2021) from the Ministry of Science and Technology, People’s Republic of Bangladesh. In addition to his academic and research contributions, Md. Asaduzzaman actively collaborates with esteemed journals as a guest reviewer. His involvement includes journals such as Food Analytical Methods, Trends in Sciences (Walailak University), Journal of Advances in Mathematics and Computer Science, Journal of Agriculture and Ecology Research International, Asian Journal of Medical Principles and Clinical Practice, American Journal of Food Technology, and Journal of Advances in Biology & Biotechnology. Md. Asaduzzaman's research interests are diverse, encompassing antioxidants, pigments, minimization of post-harvest losses of fruits, and the utilization of food wastes. His wealth of experience and dedication to both academia and research make him a valuable asset in the field of Food Engineering & Technology.
