SUB and University of Dhaka Sign Historic MoA to Advance Pharmaceutical Research
Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) Signing Ceremony between State University of Bangladesh and the University of Dhaka
A Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was formally signed between State University of Bangladesh (SUB) and the University of Dhaka (DU) on 8 July 2026 at the University of Dhaka.
The signing ceremony was graced by the presence of the Honorable Vice-Chancellor of the State University of Bangladesh, Professor Dr. Akter Hossain Khan and Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, DU Professor Dr. Salim Reza. Distinguished attendees also included honorable advisor of SUB School of Pharmaceutical Science; Professor Emeritus Dr. Md. Abdur Rashid, Professor Dr. Mohammad Saiful Islam Pathan, Dean of School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Professor Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim, Chairman of the Department of Pharmacy, SUB along with respected faculty members and representatives from both institutions.
The MoA marks a significant milestone in strengthening the academic relationship between the two universities. Through this collaboration, both institutions reaffirm their commitment to promoting excellence in higher education by fostering joint research, academic and scientific cooperation, faculty and student exchange, curriculum development, and other mutually beneficial initiatives.
Department of Pharmacy, State University of Bangladesh remains committed to expanding strategic academic partnerships that enhance educational quality, research excellence, and innovation, while contributing to the advancement of pharmaceutical sciences and higher education in Bangladesh.
