The Department of Pharmacy, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, State University of Bangladesh (SUB), proudly inaugurated the Orientation Program for the 49th Batch of the B. Pharm. (Hons.) Program, Fall 2026, on Saturday, 11 July 2026, at Scholar’s Inn, the permanent campus of State University of Bangladesh.

The occasion was honoured by the presence of distinguished guests:

Chief Guest: Mr. Mohammad Shafiqul Islam, Executive Director, Marketing & Sales, Aristopharma Ltd.

Special Guest: Mr. Md. Nazirul Islam, Senior Deputy Production Manager, ACI PLC.

Chair: Prof. Dr. Md. Akhter Hossain Khan, Vice Chancellor, State University of Bangladesh.

The program was further enriched by the gracious presence of Dr. Md. Abdur Rashid, Honourable Advisor to the Department of Pharmacy and Emeritus Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, University of Dhaka.

This orientation marked the beginning of a promising academic journey for the newly admitted students. Through inspiring addresses, professional insights, and valuable guidance from eminent representatives of academia and the pharmaceutical industry, students were encouraged to pursue academic excellence, uphold professional ethics, engage in scientific inquiry, and prepare themselves to become competent leaders in healthcare and pharmaceutical sciences.
