Freshers Reception of FENS Batch 62 Successfully Held at SUB
The Department of Food Engineering and Nutrition Science (FENS), State University of Bangladesh, warmly welcomed the 62nd Batch through a successful Freshers Reception held on 14 June 2026 at Scholar's Inn, SUB, marking the beginning of their academic journey at the University.
The program was graced by the Honorable Vice-Chancellor and Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Md. Akhter Hossain Khan. The event was chaired by Dr. Farzana Sultana Bari, Associate Professor and Chairman of the Department of Food Engineering and Nutrition Science.
Inspiring, insightful and guiding speeches were also delivered by Major Ahsan Habib, 2 BNCC Battalion Commander, Ramna Regiment, Uttara, Prof. Mohammad Ali Naqi, Dean, School of Science and Technology, and Shah Reza M Fahad Hossain, Proctor, State University of Bangladesh.
The distinguished speakers encouraged the freshers to pursue academic excellence, innovation, integrity, and lifelong learning while making meaningful contributions to society.
