Mr. Md. Sohel Rana, currently holding the position of lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy of the State University of Bangladesh, is a passionate and dedicated educator and researcher in the field of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Science. He successfully accomplished both his Master of Pharmacy degree from the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and his Bachelor of Pharmacy (professional) degree from the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Dhaka. His master's thesis work earned him the National Science and Technology (NST) fellowship, 2021–2022, from the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. His research concentrated on the synthesis, purification and identification of natural polymers and their derivatives; materials science; new molecule extraction and identification. Along with his captivating academics, he also completed a six-month hospital training program at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital and received industrial training from Renata Ltd. His research works have been published in several scientific journals and he has participated in numerous international scientific conferences and seminars.
