Ms. Nurjahan Akter Monira is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Studies at the State University of Bangladesh (SUB). She also serves as an Assistant Proctor of the University and an Advisor of the SUB Business Club, contributing to university administration, student engagement, and leadership development. She completed both her MBA and BBA in Finance and Banking from Jahangirnagar University, where she was among the top performers in her class. 

She has published 16+ scholarly articles in peer-reviewed international journals, including five Scopus-indexed and four ABDC-ranked publications. She has also reviewed more than 20 research manuscripts for reputed academic journals and supervised numerous undergraduate and postgraduate students. Her research interests include Digital Finance, Financial Technology (FinTech), Financial Engineering, Corporate Governance, ESG and Sustainable Finance, and Financial Institutions. 

Beyond her teaching and research activities, she has actively organized and coordinated national-level case competitions, business idea competitions, academic seminars, and workshops, fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and experiential learning among students. She has also served as a judge for a KOICA-funded Sustainable Business Idea Sharing Competition, demonstrating her engagement with sustainable entrepreneurship and innovation.
